The answer is stored in a variable. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Use<\/h2>\n\n<p>Among the construction functions, click on \u201cUser entry\u201d.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/Entree_00_FR-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-965\"><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong>You can then configure this feature as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter the question you want to ask the user,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose or create the variable in which the answer will be saved,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the variable type (Free text, Number detection or Email detection),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose or create the sequence that will be launched once the user has responded,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose or create the sequence that will be launched if the chatbot already has a value for this variable for this user,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a cancel button to allow the user not to answer the question.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>When you choose the variable type<strong>\u201cEmail detection<\/strong>\u201d or<strong>\u201cNumber detection\u201d<\/strong>, if the answer entered by the user doesn\u2019t match the corresponding type, the chatbot considers it an error and will replay the sequence to ask the question again. This information will be saved in the \u201cprenom\u201d variable of \u201cfree text\u201d type.
