Enable file reception<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>You can enable file reception in the chatbot\u2019s configuration settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/File_01_UK-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2446\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This will add an icon to the response area.  <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-155.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2434\" width=\"366\" height=\"98\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>By clicking on the icon the user will open the file explorer of his computer and will be able to choose the file to send to the chatbot.<br><br>This icon can be accessed at any time in the conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>ATTENTION<\/strong><br>When you activate the file reception, you have to create the sequence that will be triggered after the reception and configure it in the Artificial Intelligence tab.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/File_02_UK-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2448\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Quick Reply to send a file<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>If you don\u2019t want the file sending to the chatbot to be active all the time, you can use a Quick Reply in a specific sequence.<br><br>There are two ways to do this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By creating a <a href=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/en\/add-quick-replies-web-chatbot\/\">Quick Reply <\/a>with the \u201cSend File\u201d action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/QR_W_08_UK-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1785\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Or by clicking on the \u201cSend File\u201d icon among the other features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/File_00_UK-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2451\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This will automatically create a Quick Reply with the \u201cSend File\u201d action pre-selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-157-1024x366.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2453\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>When the Quick Reply is clicked, the file explorer will open. The user will be able to choose the file to send to the chatbot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Receiption of files<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p>The URL of the sent file will be stored in the variable {{BN_URL_UPLOAD}}<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>TIP<\/strong><br>If you plan to retrieve multiple files from the same user, consider saving the URL in different variables.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/image-158.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2455\" width=\"527\" height=\"164\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>All received files are accessible in the \u201cUsers\u201d tab in the \u201cReceived files\u201d sub-heading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/File_03_UK-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2457\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Received files are sorted by date received and by user.
