Brevo plugin for Botnation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brevo is the European reference for emailing and is ranked among the world\u2019s top players\u2026 Moreover, Brevo is French, like Botnation, cocorico! There is a real alternative to Mailchimp<\/a> to manage your email and SMS marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Thanks to Botnation\u2019s connector for Brevo<\/strong> it becomes extremely easy to import the email addresses collected by your chatbot to your newsletters. You can also import as many additional fields (called \u201ccontact attributes\u201d) as you want, such as first name, last name, customer number, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


First of all you need to get your API Key<\/strong> allowing Botnation to insert contacts in your Brevo lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On your Brevo<\/a> \u201cDashboard\u201d, open your account menu (top right) and click on the \u201cSMTP & API\u201d section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then copy\/paste your API key. You can generate a new one only dedicated to Botnation if you want. It is composed of many characters, do not modify it, make sure not to add anything before and after, even a \u201cspace\u201d character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Warning: Your Brevo API key must be in v3 format (version 3). Botnation does not support the old Brevo API v2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You now need a list ID number so that Botnation adds your users to the correct Brevo contact list. To do this, go to the \u201cContacts\u201d menu (top bar) and then the \u201cLists\u201d tab (on the left).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note the number to the left of your list name. For example \u201c3\u201d on this example, just \u201c3\u201d without the \u201c#\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing prevents you from managing several Brevo lists on Botnation, the same user can be subscribed to several newsletters if needed or to a specific list depending on his actions in your chatbot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s it for Brevo<\/strong>, we now have everything we need for the moment. an API Key and a list number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s move on to Botnation. The Brevo connector can be found in the \u201cEmail\u201d drawer of your Botnation chatbot<\/a> functions, at the bottom of each sequence on your Botnation interface.<\/p>\n\n\n
