Set up the chatbot<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Go to the \u201cPlugin\u201d tab of your chatbot settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Mailgun01_UK-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3789\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To associate your Mailgun account with your bot you must fill in 3 parameters:<br>\u2013 the <strong>region <\/strong>of your Mailgun account<br>\u2013 The <strong>domain<\/strong> associated with your region<br>\u2013 the <strong>API key<\/strong> of your domain<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Send an email with Mailgun<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the building features, click on \u201cEmail\u201d and then, in the menu that opens, click on \u201cMailgun\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Mailgun_UK-1024x604.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3791\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This will add the following item to your sequence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/image-20.png.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3793\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can then send an email from your chatbot by writing it naturally and including {{\u2026}} variables if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>ATTENTION:<\/strong><br>The sender (\u201cfrom\u201d) must be an email address of yours, theoretically the one of your Mailgun account.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>It is you who sends an email to someone and not the other way around, so you don\u2019t pretend to be someone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you can send an email to yourself if you want to send information collected from a user.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>TIP:<\/strong><br><em>If you use {{\u2026}} variables to generate your email you can use the Botnation variable {{NEW_LINE}} which will force a line break in the body of your email message.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"categorie-support":[194,221],"class_list":["post-3784","support","type-support","status-publish","hentry","categorie-support-features","categorie-support-web-chatbot-en"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/support\/3784","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/support"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/support"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3784"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categorie-support","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/botnation.ai\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categorie-support?post=3784"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
