The data exchanged with these services is limited solely to the uses that you define yourself. Botnation will not read or write any data outside of the usage that you have configured. Botnation can still be used without access to these services, and we recommend that you do not activate them if you do not use them.

Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data. The administrator can protect sensitive data (credit card numbers, phone numbers, etc.). This data is detected and replaced with characters that anonymize it. This happens directly in the browser before the dialogue is even sent to our servers. The sensitive data never leaves the user’s computer and is no longer even readable in the conversation stream. Protection is maximized.

Botnation complies with data protection regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe, which sets strict standards for the collection, storage, and processing of users’ personal data.

Botnation provides chatbot designers with tools on the interface (back office) to manage the deletion of collected data.

3. Who is the recipient of the collected data?

Personal data collected by Botnation through the contact form or account creation form is intended solely for Botnation and will not be disclosed to third parties. Each processing operation limits the internal recipients who are authorized to access and process the data concerned.

4. How long are the personal data collected stored?

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected or in accordance with legal requirements.

The shelf life varies depending on several factors, including:

• The requirements for Botnation activities;
• Contractual requirements;

Data relating to the management of prospects, customers, and service providers is collected and stored:

• for contracts: for the duration of the contractual relationship and for five (5) years following the end of the contractual relationship;

Your data may be retained beyond the duration of our contractual relationship, for example to defend our rights in court, to provide you with documents that you no longer have in your possession, or to comply with our legal obligations. Regarding data collected in chatbots, publishers are responsible for this data (2.2), and Botnation provides tools to manage the deletion of this data (2.3).
