If there’s one thing we’re proud of at Botnation, it’s the longevity of a large proportion of our customers. We’re convinced that lasting relationships benefit everyone: respect, trust, commitment. TechViz is one of those customers who came to us with a specific need and used the platform for what was initially intended to be a test. Every month, we’re delighted to see that they’re still with us, and that the test was a success.
TechViz deploys real-time collaborative virtual reality software for the playful visualization of 3D data from a variety of industrial applications. Maïssoun Haouas, digital marketing manager, tells us today how their chatbot designed on Botnation optimizes their lead gathering.
Introduce yourself and your company
Hello, my name is Maïssoun Haouas, and I’ve been in charge of Digital Marketing at TechViz for over 4 years. TechViz is a publisher of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) software with operations in France and abroad. TechViz’s collaborative virtual reality software enables real-time visualization of 3D data from over 200 industrial applications such as Catia, Creo or NX, in virtual reality and without data conversion. This unique technology offers engineers a full range of functionalities: product/project design review, simulation of system operability or ergonomics. These are just some of the functionalities that accelerate product development and time-to-market cycles.
What issues did you face before launching your chatbot?
At the time, our prospects could only contact us via contact forms on our website, which could prove to be a deterrent, especially for prospects who have difficulty understanding what virtual reality can do for them, or who are still at an early stage of thinking about their project.
How did you come to the conclusion that a chatbot would meet these needs?
We thought it would be interesting to have a solution on our site enabling our prospects to get in touch with us easily, ask a simple question and get a quick answer from us.
Why choose Botnation?
This one met our expectations: to have a chatbot that wasn’t intrusive, that was easy to use, and that integrated well with our site in terms of graphic design.
How did you build the chatbot? What was the creation process?
We started out with a simple chatbot with a minimum of possible interactions, then added to it as we went along.
Have you seen any initial results?
Yes, we have prospects who have contacted us via our chatbot.
Would you have any advice for a company that also wants to launch a chatbot?
A chatbot is an interesting and practical solution for making contact easier. If I have one piece of advice to give, it would be to spend time creating the chatbot before launching it. This allows you to offer your prospects a truly operational and complete chatbot.
